Privacy Policy

Locked In for iOS · Last updated 27 July 2026

Locked In does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. Everything you create in the app stays on your device.

Information we collect

None. Locked In has no servers, no accounts, and no sign-in. We never receive your data because the app never sends it anywhere.

Information stored on your device

So the app can work, the following is saved locally on your iPhone and never leaves it:

This data is stored in your device's app storage and in a shared app group used by the app and its Screen Time extensions. You can erase all of it at any time by deleting the app.

Screen Time and app blocking

Locked In uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks to block distracting apps during a focus session. This deserves a clear explanation, because it is the most sensitive permission the app requests.

Purchases

Locked In offers an optional Pro upgrade through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your name, payment card, billing address, or Apple Account details. The app only receives a signed confirmation from Apple indicating whether an active Pro entitlement exists.

Your purchase is subject to Apple's own terms and privacy practices. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Locked In sends local notifications from your device to tell you when a session ends. These are generated on-device. No push server is involved and no device token is collected.

Third parties

Locked In includes no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting services. No third party receives any information about you through this app.

Children's privacy

Locked In does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no data at all, there is nothing for us to receive, retain, or delete.

Your rights

Data-protection laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data held about you. We hold none. All of your Locked In data lives on your own device and is entirely under your control — deleting the app removes it permanently.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date above. If a future version of the app ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated before that version ships.
